Little Nippers Childcare is an independent nursery open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 8am until 6pm. We are an inclusive nursery catering for children aged 0 to 5 and offer free government-funded spaces for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We are a Plymouth City Council Open Doors Nursery which means that other settings are encouraged to visit us to see and discuss our outdoor areas and our activity planning.
We offer a stimulating curriculum, delivered by highly qualified staff, in a well-resourced environment. The interior spaces have been entirely renovated and redesigned to provide a calm, motivating atmosphere where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. Our extensive outdoor space comprises a fully covered decked garden for our younger children, a safe, enclosed garden and a covered, free-flow area for the 2 to 5 year olds.

Report
These are covered areas adjoining the main building where we provide tables, chalkboards and games for children to enjoy a range of activities in the fresh air all year round. This is reserved for our youngest children, up to 2 years old. There are chalkboards, a cosy corner, a play kitchen and benches as well as spaces to grow herbs and flowers.
Resources
Report
We work closely with childcare organisations, experts and authorities to ensure our children can play and learn in a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment. This would not be possible without high-quality staff so we invest substantial time and resources in their training and support. Development Matters is a set of guidelines published by the British Association for Early Childhood Education to support each child's individual development.
