One particular technique used by police drivers is "commentary driving".

Fleet

If your company has one or more people who drive a vehicle in relation to their work then you can benefit from fleet driver assessment. Fleet driver training can seriously reduce accidents and costs. Many insurance companies offer a reduction in premiums for those companies who have their drivers regularly assessed by a DVSA Fleet Registered Trainer.

I was fortunate enough to learn with Pete and as a driving instructor I couldn't recommend him highly enough. I found Pete to be very analytical and thorough in his approach to teaching and will try every technique in the book in order to improve your driving skills, as opposed to merely getting you ready for the test, Pete put the time and effort in to ensure I was the safest and most capable driver I could be.

Pete is an incredible driving instructor. He is so patient, kind, and encouraging, I couldn’t praise him highly enough! His ingenuity, creativity with teaching, and ability to work with a highly anxious individual such as myself was amazing, and created the perfect environment for me to learn. He is really able to see into your drive, and think of brilliant ways to help correct and learn how to safely drive for life, not just to pass the test. First off let me start by saying I was a very nervous and unconfident driver with limited knowledge of the the rules of the road. This changed when driving with Pete...The resources he uses are excellent with his own database of videos and precise knowledge of where the test routes will be. This theory and then practice routine is how I passed my test fist time with only one minor.
I am confident to say if you're in need of an excellent driving instructor then get in touch ASAP.

Pete took me on after my last instructor changed to automatic. After my first lesson of driving he managed to find all my faults and made me relax more. After a month I had a addressed these bad habits and my driving improved dramatically. I passed today but I feel if I had Pete from the start I would of passed with no minors.

My driving instructor Matthew was an excellent teacher. He was patient, encouraging, very clear with his explanations, and he helped me pass first time with only 4 minors! Matt helped me be a safe yet confident driver. He has little phrases which were very useful and easy to remember whilst driving and taking the test. Matt also helped my sister pass first time. Would very highly recommend ! :)
