Services
Picture Framing
We specialise in custom picture framing solutions for paintings, photographs, and documents. Using conservation-grade materials like acid-free mount boards and UV-protective glass, we ensure long-term preservation while enhancing visual presentation. Our expert team provides tailored advice on frame selection, matting options, and display techniques to complement each artwork's unique characteristics.
Sports Shirt Framing
Our specialist sports shirt framing service preserves jerseys and garments using museum-standard techniques. Acid-free foam boards maintain shape integrity while allowing airflow to prevent moisture damage. We offer custom aperture mounts and shadowbox frames to showcase badges, signatures, and specific design elements, ensuring both protection and aesthetic appeal for valuable sports memorabilia.
Computerised Mount Cutting
Advanced computer-controlled mount cutting ensures perfect bevels and apertures for artwork presentation. We work with 1.4mm to 3.2mm conservation board in multiple colours, creating single or multi-window mounts with title apertures and engraved plaques. This technology guarantees accuracy for complex shapes and layered mount designs required by professional framers.
Canvas Stretching
We provide professional canvas stretching services using FSC-certified kiln-dried timber frames. Our custom stretchers accommodate various canvas types and sizes, with depth options from 20mm to 45mm. The process maintains material integrity while ensuring proper tensioning to prevent warping, ideal for artists, galleries, and collectors requiring durable display solutions for original artworks.
Conservation Framing
Specialist conservation framing services protect valuable documents, textiles, and artworks using pH-neutral materials and reversible techniques. We employ museum-grade glazing with 1% reflectivity and acid-free adhesives to prevent chemical degradation. This service caters to historical artefacts, family heirlooms, and fine art requiring long-term protection from environmental damage while maintaining visual accessibility.

We were in the market for 5 frames for various sized artwork and couldn't be happier choosing Custom Frames to build them. Having never purchased professional picture frames before we weren't sure what to expect. However, the extremely friendly staff made selecting the frames an easy and enjoyable experience. They had great knowledge and provided recommendations about the style that would not only look the best, but be the most cost-effective. The frames were very promptly made (in just over a week) and the quality is outstanding. We highly recommend Custom Frames and look forward to using them
