Shire have been producing garden buildings since 1981. Initially we utilised the skill our workforce possessed when we stopped producing Yachts and started to make Garden Buildings. We have consistently expanded over the years, skills have been passed on and our factories and warehouses now occupy some 20 acres.
We have invested in the best equipment and have facilities that include a planing mill, self-contained joinery production, undercover timber store and large warehouses that can hold some 20,000 buildings in stock. All of our products are manufactured in the United Kingdom at two sites, one in Wisbech, the other 10 miles away in Sutton Bridge.

Log Cabins

We offer a Log Cabin for every possible purpose. Whether it be a party hot spot, a quiet hide-a-way, or a gym or an office. The interior of every Log Cabin has no wall framework and is warm and inviting, even on those cold winter days. Only the best timber is used by Shire for production of our Log Cabins.

Many homes need additional storage space because the garage is full, the summerhouse is full, the shed is full! We are pleased to offer in our Storage section some attractive additional storage solutions. The units have been designed to give total access to the storage area offered.

Overlap Sheds

If you like the more rustic look, our range of Overlap Sheds is probably just what you're looking for. Our Overlap Shed range has multiple sizes available, or we can make a size or design especially for you. In all our buildings, including our Overlap range, we still use the best, slow-grown timber, machined in our own mill and all our Overlap Sheds are produced in our UK factory.
Pet Houses

One of our Pethouses will satisfy the requirements of that special 'friend' who requires purpose built accommodation, some or all of the time. All items in our Pethouses range are made from slow-grown solid Pine unless otherwise stated. The cladding is Pine tongue and groove and the framework is 3535 mm (1x1).
