Ive used a few mobile device repair centres and then somebody recommended Simon to me when my daughters Nintendo Switch stopped working. Simon collected it and had it back working for me in less than a day. Since then he has repaired 3 different phones for me, one with a battery, one with a broken camera lens and one a broken screen. My daughter's iPhone X got water damaged and it appeared that only the screen was affected i.e. a rainbow effect, no touch screen but Siri worked ok.
Simon said that in his experience, despite Siri working ok, a replacement screen was unlikely to fix it and there was sure to be more trouble to come as it was likely that the water damage was much more extensive. His honest opinion saved me the expense of a repair and the heartache of having an unreliable phone.
