Very poor service for a private hospital, staff dont answer phones poor parking and a merry go round system if endless options on the phone, go to Peninsula get better service, unfortunately this place seems just as poor as treliske with staff unable to deal with patients, for the price they charge someone should answer the darn calls, I do not recommend this place when there is better service at peninsula

Tried many times to arrange a procedure at this hospital. First consultation was very awkward, I was given terribly bad advice and made to feel very uncomfortable by the medical professional.
I attempted to resolve my bad first impression and called to discuss and hopefully rebook a new consultation with someone else. The complaints team passed me over to patient services/liaison and I am appalled at how they dealt with the situation.
Despite many attempts for me to get the advice needed, they gave half hearted information, ignored me, never called back and I never got the answers I needed.

Issued a £100 FPN and threat of bailiffs after picking up a patient post-op during covid.
apparently waited longer than 20 minutes and didn't enter vehicle details despite not being allowed in to the building to do so.
utterly bizarre
if you're doing through a difficult time, dealing with cancer and you choose duchy hospital don't be too surprised if you receive unscrupulous financial demands and the threat of thugs at your door.

Visited Duchy Hospital for an operation on Friday. the entire team have been fantastic from the brilliant anesthetist who helped reassure and keep me calm despite being terrified at first through to all the nurses who quite literally picked me up on more than one occasion! I have worked for Ramsay Duchy Hospital as a contractor for years, but today used the services as a patient. what an excellent, professional service. I had to pay the initial consultation fee but was well worth it to have the time spent finding out a solution to the problem. keep up the great work.

From the initial consultation right through to my operation and aftercare, I’ve been treated with nothing but care and respect. The staff are wonderful and work hard to put you at ease. I had my gallbladder removed under the care of Dr Michael Clarke and I can’t fault him or any other member of the Duchy Hospital team. Thanks for taking such great care of me and making my first ever operation such a stress-free experience!

I had a consultation today for prospective surgery. I was asked to wait to have an x-ray then go back to see the Consultant. Whilst in the waiting room I was asked by a male employee working in the x-ray office if I would be prepared to come back rather than wait as it could take a while. I said no I will wait. My x-ray and the nature of my visit was discussed in the waiting area in front of other people who heard the conversation. I would like to know what happened to 'Patient Confidentiality;

I drove my wife to the hospital for an appointment which was fine. Registered my car while she was being seen with reception as instructed. Now received a parking fine from a company they use for £100. Contacted hospital and they said nothing to do with them. Be careful, it seems you will be charged to attend the hospital. Come on Dutchy hospital, we pay good money to use you, please look after your customers

Organisation before coming in for my operation was extremely poor. I was told that I would have a call 3 days before the op to go over the procedure and what I need to eat/drink and timings etc. I didn't receive a call so I called them the day before. Reception transferred me to 5 different departments and even a patients room! Who go all confused about who she was talking to (she was elderly)
Then the lady on reception told me abruptly that I had to have my MRSI test or I couldn't have my op. And that I needed to leave work immediately in Plymouth and go to see my doctor. I told her that was
