My son has been attending Dyslexia West Midlands for just over 4 years now and they have worked absolute miracles with him . He was 8 years old when he started and he couldn't even read the cat sat on the mat without sounding it all out and he could barely write his name but now with the help of excellent tuition he is reading diary of wimpy kid books they are his absolute favourite and he is writing short assignments for school. As a parent it is just such a joy to see him enjoying reading and going to school he no longer gets frustrated when he can't do something he works his way through. I can

Ethan likes his tutor Shannon. She is friendly and approachable as is Suzanne. At the end of the lesson, feedback is given on work he has done, how he has found it and what I can do at home with him. Ethan is more confident when writing and his spelling and reading have improved. As a parent if there is any aspect of work that I find Ethan struggling with I can raise my concerns with Suzanne who then requests his tutor to look at with him. I am really pleased with the help they give him.

Such a great experience for my son who is 7. He had been struggling at school and we opted to get him assessed after speaking on the phone. My son doesn't trust easily and he was so open at the assessment as Suzanne put him at ease from the second we met. Thank you x
