Brookhouse Farm is a family run Riding School situated in a semi rural area on the outskirts of Birmingham, with good road links including accessibility to the motorway network and a nearby train station (Whitlocks End). We opened the gates of Brookhouse Farm Riding School in 1985 as a new business where none had existed before.
We had approximately 45 acres of Green Belt grazing land which we used for our 3 ponies and the livery of other peoples horses/ponies. There were no buildings at this time, so when we opened the riding school we literally had our 3 ponies, on which we offered instruction, and a caravan which we purchased to use as a reception area, but we did a lot of local advertising and the business started to grow.

Riding horses is truly a sport open to all. Both sexes compete on equal terms and in the same events, disabled riders can outshine their able bodied friends and you are never too old!. As is the case with any new skill it is important to learn correctly from experienced staff, in a secure environment, and as safely as possible.
