We are proud to be an independent award-winning speciality coffee shop. We've got a whole crew of talented baristas and bakers who love nothing more than welcoming customers into our shop and serving the best coffee and freshly baked homemade cakes! Our home is a beautiful Grade II listed building with a courtyard garden.

We value our daily interaction with our loyal regulars and enjoy the vibrant indie community of the street. We know just how many variables affect the final outcome of the coffee in your cup. We use the finest coffee beans from Butterworth & Son - their award winning 100% Espresso 4 Bean blend for all our espresso based drinks using our La Marzocco KB90.

Our working lives began as an Illustrator and Property Consultant, but it wasn't long before we became discontent. This in turn led us to put our minds together to think about what we really love in life. We're the kind of people who like to create and combine delicious food and drink with beautiful spaces that can be shared with others.

Our afternoon tea includes a selection of mini sandwiches (such as, ham & mustard, cheddar & homemade chutney, egg mayo & chives and cream cheese & cucumber). It also includes a freshly baked fruit scone with jam and clotted cream along with two mini homemade cakes. A pot of tea or a coffee is included.

We collaborate with local artists to host an evening drawing club which is a 1.5 hour drawing workshop. The artist leads the evening by introducing the theme along with drawing inspirations and exercises. Your 14 ticket includes a drink and cake on arrival and some materials but you are welcome to bring your own too.
