I started working on cars in the mid 80's i started as a Paint Refinisher apprentice and Spent 5-6 years at a Pete Morris Body Repairs from school and ended up foreman. At Pete Morris Body repairs we worked on all the High-end cars and was the first in Gloucestershire to have insurance approvals and worked for all the top dealerships, even worked on Rolls Royce's owned by the Queen mother.

As most people know when you buy a new car the dealership will offer you some sort of paint and interior protection packages, they will tell you that it is the best package for you. In most instances it is not as high quality or as durable as the product most Detailers like myself are applying.
The biggest problems with the protection packages is not the just the products but how they are applied and most importantly, the preparation of the surfaces of the paint before it is applied.We have seen it applied over the top of fall out, over sprayed and un-clayed panels therefore leaving very little protection, if any at all.
