Kalima Emporium was established in Worthing in 1998 by Quentin. We now offer custom tattooing by The Bearded Lady, as well as body piercing and modifications and laser tattoo removal. We are interested in the psychology of marking and altering the body and how it has been prevalent in so many cultures throughout history (see 'origins').
We understand reasons for being pierced or tattooed are diverse and varied, ranging from aesthetic to spiritual, and aim to provide what is relevant to you as an individual. We are renowned for our high standards of piercing, sterility, custom made jewellery and tattooing. Piercers Quentin and Rosie are both adept at calming nervous clients and reassuring them throughout the piercing process.

Kalima studio was established in Worthing in 1998 by Quentin. Quentin runs the piercing and the body modification s, while his partner and his Partner Ami - The Bearded Lady, ran the tattoo side of things. Our new studio features private tattooing and piercing studios, hospital grade flooring and sterilisation, larger ambient waiting area and a full range of high quality tattooing & piercing paraphernalia.
Prices

We offer you a choice of different coloured titanium rings and bars for the same cost and include a range of high quality options at various price brackets. Please contact us if you don't immediately see what you require, and we can advise you either by phone or in the shop. As a custom studio all tattoos are priced individually, based on the amount of time they take.

Meditating for years surrounded by or bearing fire Keeping one hand suspended in the air (usually the right as this is the hand for eating). This section will be more concerned with piercings that no jewellery is worn in. To a degree ritual is involved with self-mortification and transcending the self; which I believe to be inextricably linked.

We offer a full range of body piercings at Kalima including dermal anchors, skin divers, ear scalpelling, surface piercing, Mad Max Bars, dermal punching and a comprehensive range of male and female genital piercing. We will only undertake piercings that have a high rate of success ie that your body won't reject and that are safe and appropriate.
