Coventry Motorcycles and Scooters is a small family business established in 2004. Roy, the Proprietor, has worked with motorbikes as a mechanic and in sales for more years than he'd like to remember! The business specialises in new and used scooters and 125 cc motorcycles, and also stocks a wide range or helmets, protective clothing and accessories.

Roy has a friendly approach and is hot on customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We are competitive on price and are happy to take the time to offer advice on our products and services. Whether you've just turned 16 and can't wait to get your own transport, or if you are sick and tired of fuel costs and sitting in queues of traffic, we'll no doubt have exactly what you're looking for.

Getting on the road

There is no restriction on what the vehicle looks like, so mopeds can either be geared motorcycles or scooters. You can only ride a moped if you are at least 16 years old. A provisional licence and CBT entitles you to ride on the road as a learner with L-plates (D-plates in Wales) but you can't carry a passenger or go on a motorway (due to the maximum speed limitations, we highly recommend that you avoid dual carriageways as well).

Booking Your CBT

This is not a test, it is a training course, and validates your driving licence provisional entitlement to use the public highway as a lerner motorcyclist. You do not pass the CBT, you complete it. The course usually lasts a day and is a made up of five elements. If you have never ridden a powered 2 wheel machine before we strongly advise you attend anIntroduction to Biking course first.
