Questions
What MOT exemptions apply during the pandemic?
From March 2020, vehicles receive a 6-month MOT exemption. You must still maintain roadworthiness. Expiry dates update automatically on the DVSA database. Check your MOT history online.

Yes, we provide dedicated fleet maintenance for cars and vans with preferential rates. Our Servicesure Autocentre status ensures quality while our centralised billing system simplifies expense management for businesses.
How long is your service guarantee?
All services include a 12-month guarantee covering parts and labour. This warranty applies to all repairs and maintenance work performed in our Kirkdale workshop using manufacturer-approved components.
Can you handle motorhome servicing?

Couple of weeks ago I went to collect a car from the Docks and the car was loaded into the container the wrong way and the battery was flat. After spending 3 hours trying all sorts of ways to get the car started and out from the container I was given Gallagher Autos number by one of the staff at Peel....Once John from Gallagher Auto had finished what he was doing he came and met me at the heavy loading area and got the car started and they he followed me to the petrol station to make sure I could fuel it whilst it was running....Big thank you to young John a truly proper chap.

Had a problem with my air conditioning on my kia Sportage. I called in (without an appointment) to have it regassed they regassed it then found a problem with the compressor which they couldn't repair so as they were able recover the gas and I wasn't charged. I'll certainly be using them again.

We have just returned home after having been to Gallagher Autos for an MOT on our camper van. A pleasant, family run business. Nothing was too much trouble. The garage itself is clean and tidy. We have no hesitation in using this company again.

Very welcoming the lads took there time with me as I had a few problems and couldn't explain what was happening with my van .. the lads really no what there doing and I wouldn't use anyone else now. thanks for your help my van is running like new again
