I cannot speak about them as lawyers. However, I am an expert witness who carried out professional work for them. They did not pay me for well over a year! The vast majority of times that I called or emailed, I was ignored. They were always not available on the phone. Once, the receptionist told me (yet again) that the particular solicitor was not available, though when I asked to speak to the senior partner, they magically intercepted the call. They lied to me repeatedly about when I would be paid, which must reflect their overall integrity.

Called to get some legal advice, was met with aggression and arrogance. Person I spoke to seemed to want me to do the leg work.
Felt like I was talking to someone from the 'hood' rather then a professional.
Was told to leave a message but never got a call back... no surprise there.

If you're black and in a criminal case then don't bother. They hide important information from you, and when you ask for it give you a million and one excuses to not provide it. Tell you if you're not happy with something tell you they will change it and then won't. The solicitor i had was useless and extremely rude and forgot important information in the case. Simple things like getting a copy of medical records was not requested even though they had the details to apply. Will also ignore your emails. It's only when you get to court you realise how bad they actually are and then to find out they
