My goal is to address the cause of your pain as well as providing treatment to help reduce it. There's no point treating just one part of the problem; successful treatment helps you develop new knowledge and understanding of your pain as well as higher levels of strength, control and flexibility. The aim is to enable you to move without damaging your joints, ligaments and muscles and thus restore efficient, pain-free movement.

Acute Injury Management
Report
The most important time after any injury is the first 24 hours, in this time the tissues are bleeding and blood is collecting in the surrounding areas causing damage to the tissues in these areas and can prolong an injury. By reducing the bleeding you can minimise the extent of an injury. This all important stage is often underestimated.
Back Pain
Report
There are lots of different types of back pain and many different types of treatment. The important thing to establish is why you have back pain and what structures are responsible. Once we have established this, we can implement a treatment program to address all aspects that may be contributing to your pain.
Foot and Ankle Pain
Report
If you have very recently sprained your ankle it will probably be very painful; this is normal, but you should be able to put some of your weight through it. If you cannot put any of your weight through it you will probably need an X-ray. Ankle injuries are among the most common injuries to sporting and non-sporting people, and are responsible for over 300,000 visits to A&E each year.
Knee Injuries
Report
The knee is one of the most vulnerable joints in the body; as a result knee injuries are very common. Knee pain can arise from a sudden injury or can progressively build up over a very long time. Either way, the key to successful treatment lies in accurate diagnosis and treatment based on the best available evidence.
