Thornalley Funeral Services Ltd comprises of two funeral homes, Thornalley Funeral Services, in King's Lynn, and Chapmans & Thornalley Funeral Services, in Swaffham. Thornalley Funeral Services Ltd is owned and managed by the Thornalley family, of King's Lynn. The Directors, Ray, Shirley, son Andrew and his wife Abi take pride in delivering the best possible service and care to bereaved families.

This section is designed to provide you with knowledge and options that can assist you in making decisions regarding funeral arrangements. While burial was once the only choice, there has long been an option for burial or cremation in this country. Cremations soon became the most preferred choice with now over 75% of people choosing cremations.

Do you require any limousine(s)? In each limousine there is room for seven passengers. Limousine(s) can be used to follow the hearse from a private address or collect the family from a private address and meet the hearse at our Chapels of Rest or at the service. Will you be having family flowers only and asking for donations in lieu to a chosen charity, flowers and donations or flowers only?.

Both Mintlyn and Breckland Crematorium have two wall mounted screens so families have the option of having a photo, slideshow or video played during the funeral service. This can run in the background throughout the service or can be played during a reflection time in the service. At the Crematorium it is possible for the service to be recorded onto an audio CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, USB stick or broadcast online.
Order of Service

We have our own in house design and printing department where we can provide Order of Service's that are printed to a high standard, giving you quality that looks impressive yet respectful. Whilst some people choose a design straight from our guide, others like us to create a bespoke design incorporating special photographs such as their loved ones garden, prized car, pet, special place and much more.
