All our cutting tools are manufactured using industry-leading methods and the highest quality materials. They conform to all required safety and quality standards.
Composite Tools

LOMAS design and manufacture a wide range of Special Solid Carbide and PCD tooling for various composite and exotic aerospace materials at our manufacturing facility in Sheffield, England. All LOMAS tooling is fully CNC ground and custom built to our customers' own specifications/prints. LOMAS provide Special Grades of carbides, offering better abrasion resistance and increased tool hardness to withstand high temperatures when cutting.
Special Cutting Tools

Special Cutting Tools are manufactured at our Sheffield factory in various grades of tool steels including Powdered Metals (ASP2030 and ASP2060), M2 HSS, M35 and M42 Cobalt Materials, which are the most common grades specified.
Solid Carbide, Brazed Carbide & PCD-CBN Special Tooling is available in a whole range of special diameters, lengths, number of flutes, left and right hand spirals and cutting options, special tapers, radius and form relieved angles all precision ground to our customers specifications.We also offer extensive after-sales support.

Our product line includes all variants of Countersinks / Counterbores / Spotfacers / Radius Cutters / Drills / Reamers / Drill Reamers etc. LOMAS tools can be manufactured in all grades of Cobalt Material HSS, Solid Carbide, Carbide Tipped and Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD).LOMAS Micro-Stop tools are fully ground on all diameters/flutes and seating angles and are available with all types of standard and special ground threads.

Spotface / Counterbores

We offer a range of Spotface and Counterbore Tooling in HSS, Cobalt, ASP and Carbide Tipped Materials. All Spotface and Reverse/Back Spotface cutters are precision ground with corner radius and back taper to assure free cutting clearance. Back Spotface Cutters are designed for use in restricted areas where conventional spotfacing cannot be accomplished.
