Frames Gallery is a family run business and has been established since 1979. It has an enviable reputation for showing some of the best in contemporary Scottish art and craft, alongside an award-winning picture framing workshop. We started as a picture framers in 1979, and this is still an important part of our business, but we always had a desire to be able to exhibit Contemporary Scottish Artists work.
So, in 1991 we moved to our current premises in Perth to allow the holding of larger exhibitions. In 1997 we added a large, purpose built extension to this space to be able to expand the size and range of our exhibitions. Throughout the year we have a busy programme of exhibitions in the gallery as well as attending Art Fairs in London, Edinburgh and Bristol.

Over the years we have held more than 100 exhibitions featuring many Scottish artists. We continue to run an annual programme of group and solo exhibitions which include painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, woodwork and metalwork. Often, our exhibitions are held in our purpose built exhibition space at Frames Gallery in Perth but you will also see us at many other events throughout the U.K.

A work of art has its own intrinsic values. It appeals to the eye and to the soul. But it is the frame that brings it all together and brings the best out of the art work and the best out of your room. Hugh Goring has been working in the industry for 40 years and consequently is a highly experienced framer.
