Our History

Baldwins Travel has been established for over 120 years, and has grown to become the largest independent, family-owned travel agent in Kent and Sussex. It's always been family owned, first by the Baldwins family, and then by the Botting family, and was bought by Ron and Sally Marks in 1991.
Now run by Chairman, Ron Marks, wife Sally, and sons Nick and Chris as Joint Managing Directors, we have eight high street travel agents, in Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook, Lewes, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tenterden, Tonbridge and Uckfield, all recently given a fresh new look.

I have worked in travel since 1975, working in Sussex, London and Kent, and joined Baldwins Travel as the Retail Manager in 2001. I am still passionate about travelling and enjoy leading a successful experienced travel team in helping our clients to plan authentic experiences in far-flung places, or a well deserved beach and flop holiday in the sunshine.
