We will continue to add PART-147 type ratings for both Airbus and Boeing as well as several business jets to complement those already on offer. Airlines can now outsource all aviation engineering training requirements to one industry leading training academy - The British School of Aviation. Our aim is to provide airlines with an exceptional service, which is trustworthy, tailored, less time consuming and less costly.
Becoming an Engineer
Report
Probably the best way to get involved in aircraft engineering is via the apprenticeship route. The general consensus amongst various leading airlines is that hands on training mixed with theory in a controlled working environment is the most effective. UK apprenticeships are seen as some of the best in the world and many of the industry leaders started this way.
