Graeme Franklin is a highly skilled and experienced Health and Care Professions Council registered Chiropodist and Podiatrist. The HCPC is the statutory regulatory body that regulates the profession and sets standards for training, professional skills, behaviour and health. He has successfully passed examinations in local anaesthesia and nail surgery, Prescription Only Medicines (POMs) and Injection Therapy.

New to the clinic - a great ultrasound scanner! We are one of the few private clinics in the area to have one. This is great for investigating heel pain, plantar fasciitis and policeman's heel. We can even measure the thickness of the plantar fascia - it takes much of the guesswork out of diagnoses.

Nail Surgery

Extended appointment times to allow an unhurried procedure - all nail surgery slots are for 90 minutes. This makes for a pleasant and relaxed experience and most importantly less pain during the local anaesthetic injections as we can take our time!.
The price includes the services of a Surgical Assistant, local anaesthetic costs, all dressings, all follow-up visits, antibiotics if required, letter to your GP and yourself (note 10 supplement for check ups from 6.30pm).All nail surgery is performed by the Director and patients are given an emergency contact number should there be any problems - we really do care about our patients!.

It is an elegant refinement of the centuries-old sclerotherapy which produced scar tissue to stabilise joints and relieve pain.
