Ticket To Ride
Come and explore the Highlands of Scotland by bike. We've been helping people with their Scottish cycling holidays since we hired out our first bike in 2007. Since then we have grown the bike hire fleet, expanded the team and developed new transport, luggage storage and bag transfer services for cyclists and walkers.

We are a small team with a broad range of cycling experience. Our hard work and honest advice has been recognised in many five star reviews on sites like Tripadvisor. Travel restrictions are now being relaxed ahead of schedule in Scotland. Thank you to everyone who has limited their contacts this winter and to those who have delivered the vaccine programme.
Services
Booking
Report
Single Day Hires in Summer: The summer months are the peak of what is a short season for us and we have to maintain availability of bikes for our longer itineraries. We understand that you need to make plans too so if you want to go cycling for just one day in June, July or August please get in touch around a week in advance and we'll be happy to check availability and make a booking if we can.
Bike Hire
Report
If you want to enjoy your bike ride it helps to hire a great bike. We use high quality bikes from Trek who are one of the world's leading bicycle manufacturers. Our hire bikes are NEW each year and carefully cleaned, maintained and checked before every trip to ensure safety and reliablity. We subscribe to the Cyclists Touring Club Bike Hire Code.
Road
Report
Explore farther and faster on a road bike. For day bike rides by Loch Ness or cycling the North Coast 500 we've got new Trek Checkpoint AL4 road bikes. Our road bikes are designed to be fast but comfortable and resilient enough to handle the rougher surfaces found on some Highland roads. Luggage Rack are not fitted as standard but can we can put one on if you need panniers for a bit of light touring or plan to cycle the North Coast 500.
Hybrid
Report
The hybrid or trekking bike is the ideal choice for a cycle tour of Scotland, cycling the North Coast 500 or any of the cycling day trips around Inverness. We buy new bikes each year to ensure reliability and safety and we've chosen the Trek FX 2 Disc for 2020 having had a great experience with these bikes in the past.
Mountain
Report
For the Great Glen Way, Loch Ness 360 and other off-road routes you'll need one of our mountain bikes. Mountain bikes aren't as quick as hybrids on tarmac but offer greater comfort and control on rougher terrain. One-way bike hire can be arranged for The Great Glen Way finishing in Fort William or Caledonia Way NCN78 finishing in Oban.
