I opened Fabrics Galore in 1992 and have managed the business ever since. I have been in the textiles industry from a very young age and you could say it runs in the family. Fabrics Galore takes its name from the shop my grandmother started in Skipton and my father's store is still the best place to buy fabric in Bradford.

Deadstock fabric refers to textile manufacturers' end of line fabrics which may be left over in small quantities and discontinued from current fabric ranges. Deadstock fabric is used to describe discontinued fabric that is left over and hasn't sold. Often these fabrics are in small quantities or may have flaws in the fabric although it is otherwise perfectly fine.
