The best photos show children and young people feeling happy and relaxed. With 22 years' experience teaching in Norfolk primary schools, including seven as a headteacher, I understand how to put pupils at their ease and let their true colours shine. I visit the school at the school's convenience, preferably twice, the second day to do sibling groups and catch anyone who was absent the previous visit.
Each pupil gets a chance to pose several times, some formal, others more relaxed. Each pupil gets a code to take home at the end of the day, which parents/guardians can use to access a secure online gallery containing only their child's photos. They can then choose and buy prints and/or digital files for delivery to their school or home.

I have been passionate about photography for many years, and I have loved every moment, from large family shoots in a studio to capturing the excitement of new parents holding their infant, from christenings to weddings, dance shows to dog shows. I have particular expertise with young children, after a 22 year career in infant education.
