Established in 2003, we have taught guitar to hundreds of people from the ages of 4 to 87. Whatever your reason for wanting to play the guitar we can help. A face to face guitar lesson at Andy Stocks Guitar School gives you everything you need to reach your goals. Our studios are ultra modern, brimmed with the latest technology and comfortable. We use iMacs with the latest recording software. We can create any guitar tone in a few clicks with our amazing amp modelling software.

Andy is our company founder and Managing director. Andy graduated from the University of Sheffield with BA Hons in Popular Music. During and after his time studying, he played in both original and cover bands in the UK and abroad alongside some of the top names in the entertainment industry. Andy's teaching career started at the young age of 16 where he would teach from a room in his parents house.

5 years old is usually the youngest that we take due to coordination issues although we are willing to try kids younger at parents request. Please be aware we will refuse to teach if we think that it isn't quite the right time for them and invite you back later. You are very welcome to use one of our guitars in the lesson initially to see if guitar playing is for you.
