To qualify, an osteopath must study for four to five years for an undergraduate degree. This is similar to a medical degree, with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine and includes more than 1,000 hours of training in osteopathic techniques. By law, osteopaths must register with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Sports massage is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. Alix is currently available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for sports massage, as well as osteopathy. The techniques used by sports massage practitioners have been developed to ensure effective results are gained from each massage given.

We are a 2 minute walk from Bexleyheath Raiway Station, and serviced by the 422, B11, B12 and B15 bus routes that all stop just a 2 minute walk away on Pickford Lane. Although we are based in Bexleyheath we welcome patients in need of an osteopath from all nearby areas including Welling, Bexley, Erith, Crayford, Abbey Wood, Thamesmead, Sidcup, Northumberland Heath, Belvedere, Slade Green, Barnehurst and Dartford.
