Memorial Benches
Report
We can make the benches using a range of different hard woods such as Idigbo, Sapele, Iroko or Oak. We can also make them in a softwood such as a redwood. Standard sizes are either 4ft, 5ft or 6ft in length. They can be finished in an exterior oil or stain. Our benches are made solely from mortise and tenon joints for maximum strength.

At The Wooden Workshop we offer a full design and advice service to help you make the most of your outdoor space. We will guide you through the options, advise on the best timber, accessories and finishes and also help with site preparations. If any necessary groundwork needs to be done at your property we can help with this to ensure a firm and level foundation.
A Guide To Hardwoods

Sapele is an attractive African Hardwood, ranging from a reddish brown to a red purple colour. A variety of grain patterns and a deep natural sheen make each piece unique. Because of this it is also often used to create musical instruments, veneers and decorative panels. Sapele is also known as 'African Mahogany' as they share many of the same qualities.

This Waney edged wood cabin was one our largest outbuilding projects. We were approached by a customer in Wales to construct this wonderful rustic style holiday cabin. This cabin contains everything needed to provide a relaxing retreat in the beautiful Welsh countryside. We met with the customer to ensure we provided the best service and finished product, discussing every detail from the foundations up.
