Thomas Bracewell acquired Plocks Farm over 50 years ago when it was a mixed arable and livestock farm. In the sheep shed at Plocks Farm, the then Farm Manager, John Blackett, took some of the wheat that GA was growing on the 2,500-acre farm and poured it into a small extruder driven off a tractor's PTO shaft and out came a 'meal'.
