Brighouse Motorcycle Training Centre was established in 1991 in Brighouse and is now one of Yorkshires premier motorcycle training facilities, boasting over 15 training bikes, the oldest only being one year old in our fleet.

We have the highest pass rate within the area. Now based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in our brand new facility, we offer quality training, provided by our DSA (Driving Standards Agency) registered and approved instructors. Our purpose-built site is situated opposite DC Motorcycles, providing CBT, A2 licence training, Direct Access (DAS) Training and also a Rider Improvement day tailored to individual needs.

We have one of the largest selections of training bike in the North of England and are not shy in 'showing you are tackle'. We only use the latest models and are all less than 12 months old. All bikes are supplied and maintained by DC Motorcycles and range from 49cc and 125cc up to 650cc, with varying seat heights to suit all riders.

Cbt

This is a great introduction in to the world of biking. For just J40 you can book a 1 hour lesson where you will be put though your paces on of purpose build off road test pad with one of our qualified DSA instructors. If you then feel that biking is for you, you can then book to complete your CBT.

Theory

Report

All candidates wishing to take the motorcycle practical test must sit and pass a motorcycle theory test. This is made up of two parts - theory and hazard perception. Various publications are available to study from, to pass this test. You will be presented with a series of video clips which feature every day road scenes.

BMTC is based on the same site as DC Motorcycles, established in 1980 by Dick Cartwright, DC Motorcycles is one of the longest established and largest motorcycle showroom's in the Huddersfield area.
