We have a rescue pooch from Romania who's had a pretty crappy start to life so was a little cautious, especially as he has a bad leg. I have to say Scott has been brilliant. John loves putting on his boot and going for a long sniff around the heath and meeting other dogs. Scott has house sat for us a number of times too and always takes great care of our home and plants while we are away.

We don't own cats. They own us. Our cute feline rulers are very territorial and hate to be separated from their kingdom. Home is where they feel relaxed, safe and happy. Cats are also creatures of habit and have a routine. Every day like clockwork, they wake us up - either by deliberately scratching our favourite piece of furniture or jumping on our backs - so we get up and feed them.
