Promenade Music is based on Morecambe promenade at 404 Marine Road East, Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 5AR. We're just a few minutes off Junction 34 of the M6. Leave the M6 at Junction 34 and follow the signs for Morecambe firstly on the A683, and then the A589. When you get to the T junction on the promenade, turn left and we are on that first block on your left.

The Concertina is a small free reed instrument from England. The Anglo System is our most common seller and it's used for dance music, particularly Morris, and Irish music. It's also used to accompany songs and shanties. Each button produces a different note on the push and pull so there are two notes per button.

Promenade Music is without doubt the best shop for acoustic and electric guitars and basses, ukuleles and other stringed instruments that I've ever visited (and I've been to a few!). It's packed with quality instruments - even at the cheaper end there's no rubbish. But more than that, the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, without ever being pushy. There's a hand-picked selection of top quality pre-loved instruments, so the chance of a real bargain, and all their prices are very competitive, even against the huge online dealers. After being let down by one of the big online retailers with a lack of stock and delayed deliveries, I found Promenade Music.
Spoke on the phone with Gary who was incredibly friendly and down to earth. They had an amplifier in stock that I was looking to get as soon as possible. He made sure it was shipped off the same day and I recieved it early the next morning!

I have to say these are the best people you will ever meet!! Used this shop a few times over the years always friendly and willing to help you with anything you need.I recently took an electric guitar to be professionally setup I bought from a friend.So a few days later I picked it back up and WOW what a difference its a different guitar! What a fantastic job they did plus a new gig bag £40 Brilliant service!!!

Amazing place such a variety of choice with such geat staff with a plethra of knowledge. With an almost homely warm atmosphere I was left to browse at my leisure and choose my guitar and when i was ready with no pressure sales( such a welcome change than shops near me ). I'm no Jimmy page but didn't feel judged but made to feel at ease..I will be returning soon as I've saved up for my next purchase ..best music shop I know of by far .

An outstanding experience and customer service with excellent prices I've not seen beaten yet either. David and Chris spent a total of almost 3 hours listening to my changing needs, helping me understand how to put together my first home studio. Chris who I dealt with the most, was extremely knowledgeable, explained things well, responsive, patient and even drove 2 hours himself to deliver the keyboard! 6*. I also tried a number of other music stores across Manchester and Lancashire and I found Promenade easily the best. I will be back for an upgrade when the time comes!
