About Us

In 1989, the Heayns family purchased the land on which Mill Meadow now sits, and the family moved onto the site in 1993. Up until 2006, the land was used as a plant and tree nursery for the family landscaping business. The Lake was established in 1990 to provide irrigation for the nursery. Construction on the first lodge, Kingfisher, began in Spring 2006 and Woodpecker followed in 2008.

Our award winning luxury, self-catering, eco holiday homes are all furnished and maintained to an exceptionally high standard, and offer Something for Everyone. Every Mill Meadow lodge is designed to maintain the diversity of wildlife, with at least one bird and one bat box, and all landscaped areas are carefully managed to ensure a range of flora and fauna can thrive.

Elaine Branch from 3-Gens Craft Shop is available to put on Craft Workshops for guests at Mill Meadow. We will be scheduling Craft Workshops from time-to-time, so keep an eye on our social media.
