I tune and repair all types of pianos in the Bristol and Bath area. I tune pianos for concert halls and professional musicians, for families and passionate amateurs. For many of the people I visit, their piano is a cherished possession: essential for their job, a family treasure, their delight. Other pianos have had a hard life, but do a good enough job for you.
But every piano, even the modest ones, has a story to tell about how it came to you and its place in your life. My job is to listen to your story, and make your piano the best it can be. The biggest part of my work is to listen to what you want, to understand the feel and sound you need, and then listen to your piano and understand what it needs.

I began my career with an apprenticeship in piano tuning at The Kemble - Yamaha Piano Factory. This apprenticeship led to a three-year college course in Piano Tuning and Restoration at Newark on Trent. The college is the UK centre of excellence for piano tuning, restoration and repair, now operating as the School of Musical Instrument Craft.
