Dance Classes

Formally known as Cygnets this class combines baby ballet, mini modern dance and tinies tap. Ages from 3 years to school year 3. The early childhood years represent a time of rapid growth and development, when young children become aware of their bodies and what they can do with them.
Once the children start school, they join our Pre-Primary classes and once they have learnt and progressed through the basics of Pre-Primary they will be promoted into Primary and will have the option of entering their first Ballet examination with the Royal Academy of Dance.We begin studying with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) when the children start school at Reception Age.

Lil Beatz

We are here to make toddler dance classes cool and hip by adding an urban twist to all our classes. You and your lil ones could be busting moves to the freshest new sounds of Lil Beatz. We want even the adults to come along and get jiggy with it!

Pre-School Dance

The early childhood years represent a time of rapid growth and development, when young children become aware of their bodies and what they can do with them. Movement experts agree that young children should be involved in the fundamental movements such as walking, running, turning, jumping and skipping.
Ballet
Report
Children can start ballet classes at age of 3 in our Little Cygnets class. Students work their way up through the RAD grades, hopefully taking Grade 8 by the time they graduate. We also offer 'Vocational' classes and examinations, from Intermediate Foundation up to Advanced Level. These examinations are for students in Grade 4 or above who demonstrate an excellent standard of Ballet and may have the potential to work towards a career in Dance.
Tap & Modern
Report
Tap and Modern is first introduced in our Little Cygnets classes at a very basic level working with songs and games. Footlight follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) curriculum from reception age. Students work their way up through the ISTD grades to Grade 6, at which point those that are capable will move on to Vocational examinations: Intermediate, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2.
