Preschool Education
Our Preschool Room caters to children aged 3-4 years in Bishop's Cleeve. With a 1:5 staff-to-child ratio, we deliver Ofsted-rated Outstanding education through play-based learning. Our qualified teachers focus on school readiness while nurturing social and emotional development within the historic Tithe Barn setting.
Early Learners Room
Designed for 2-3 year olds, our Early Learners Room maintains a 1:4 staff ratio to ensure personalized attention. The dedicated space opened in September 2022, offering age-appropriate activities that promote confidence and independence while preparing children for the transition to preschool education.
Forest School Activities
We incorporate Forest School principles into our curriculum, providing regular outdoor learning experiences. These activities develop physical coordination, environmental awareness, and problem-solving skills through structured nature-based play and exploration within our secure outdoor spaces.
Government Funding Support
We accept 15 and 30-hour government funding schemes for eligible 2-4 year olds. Our team assists parents with eligibility checks and applications for Working Parents Funding and Extended 30 Hours Funding through the Best Start in Life website, making quality childcare more accessible.

Could not praise this playgroup high enough. After moving my daughter here from one of the other local playgroups I have been nothing but impressed with all they do. They're absolutely brilliant with the children and put their all into them. Massively recommend them to anyone.

Tithe Barn Preschool provides the most caring environment for your little one to flourish. All the staff are professional, friendly and incredibly supportive. They always celebrate what your child can do, and encourage their development in such a nurturing manner. The setting has regular access to a woodland area, excellent communication with photographs via an app, and interesting visitors to reflect weekly topics. I cannot recommend Tithe Barn Preschool enough to give your child the best start on their learning journey.

My daughter attends the Tithe Barn Preschool and absolutely loves it!! We as parents have really noticed her progressing in so many areas since she has joined. There are so many lovely learning activities that are planned for the children and parents are always informed about what they are doing and their progress. The staff are so friendly and approachable, they really care about all the children. I would highly recommend this setting.

I cant recommend the Tithe Barn pre school enough. My daughter loved going there and she was proud of her school! The teachers are outstanding in every way possible, they are all kind and welcoming and care for and nurture every child. The setting itself is lovely with all the resources the children need, including an outdoor area and regular welly walks.

My daughters happiness here speaks volumes. Im a nursery practitioner at a local nursery and I would highly recommend Tithe Barn to anyone with small children. The staff really are fantastic and always one step ahead in everything they do. What a delightful setting where my little darling thrives. Such a special place :)

I cannot speak highly enough of this preschool, my daughter absolutely loves it and is learning so much everyday, socially and academically, more importantly she comes home so happy. The teachers are all amazing, so kind caring and look after the all the children so well, Iv recommended the tithe barn to all my friends with small children. Im lucky to have found such a gem.
