Fields lodge is situated at the very edge of a small, quiet village, in it's own grounds amounting to 1/3 of an acre of established shrubbery. The village boasts a small Post Office and shop, a church and a pub. The beach of Sandy Haven is at the edge of the village and Sandy Haven creek, a lovely tidal inlet is a 5 minute walk down an infrequently used lane from the property.

There is nothing more unsettling after a day out to come back to cold and uncomfortable accommodation. Which is why a stay with us makes the perfect get away. A stylish lounge with large sofas to relax on, a large TV and a coal fire for the colder days. A peaceful garden making an ideal place to relax on a summer evening with a glass of wine.

Marthas Vineyard - a pub/restaurant/bistro feel and menu, usually a 40yr+ visitor here. Although Trip Advisor has a mixed set of reviews(past ownership), I have always had a nice meal here. Recently under new ownership of Dan, who is as passionate as I am in delivering great food. Always mention you are staying at Fields Lodge as I have an agreed partnership scheme with Dan and negotiated a discount for you on your meals.

There are no landings ONTO Skomer, but you can take a trip AROUND Skomer and there are also trips going out to Grassholm, the Gannets and the Dolphins. YAAAAAYYYYY! I know ou've been asking for this for years!. We are fortunate to be only approximately 15 minutes drive away from the embarkation point to Skomer- Martins Haven.

Skomer is THE reason to come for many visitors to West Wales. We are fortunate to be only approximately 15 minutes drive away from the embarkation point to Skomer - Martins Haven. Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is renowned and Fields Lodge sits on the path seen flagged on the Ordinance Survey Map. As well as the National Park, we sit on smaller paths granted by Tyr Gofal, again this path can be accessed from the back of Fields Lodge.
