Very early this morning the ISC Bramble Cricket team lead by their Captain Tim Devlin (Vice Commodore) met on Bramble Bank and faced Royal Southern Yacht Club for the famously quirky cricket match. Believed to have started in the 1950s, this strange but fabulous tradition sees the Island Sailing Club pitched against the Royal Southern YC were both teams play against each other until play is stopped by waves.
Last Saturday the Upper Terrace and Marquee was buzzing with new Members and the Gin & Tonics were flowing! It was great to see so many of our lovely new Members enjoying the Club. If you are interested in joining the Island Sailing Club please contact Nicky on 01983 296621.
