We are a family run business who take pride in our products and our customer service. Steve Prince entered the butchery trade in 1978, working at Dewhurst Butchers in Woking situated down Wolsey Walk which is now where Sainsburys is located in the Woking Shopping centre. At the age of 18 he left to join Harford Brothers Butchers, and was there for many years, working in their shops in Old Woking, Bisley and New Haw.
Following on from his spell with Harford Brothers, Steve joined the team at Robert and Edwards in Wimbledon, and stayed there until he saw an opportunity to open his own shop. Steve alongside his business partner at the time, purchased a Robert and Edwards shop in Midhurst and renamed it Michael Courtney Family Butchers, Michael for Steve's middle name, and Courtney for his business partners middle name.

Steve has been in the butchery trade for over 40 years and is considered to be a Master Butcher. Working across a wide range of butchers shops across London, Surrey and Sussex, Steve has a wealth of experience and enjoys passing his knowledge on to the next generation of butchers. He also prides himself in sourcing quality meats, as local as possible, so we can give our customers the finest produce available.

From our award winning sausages, to our Surrey Farms Beef, to our seasonal game, you could say, we do it all! Here at Prince and Son's, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best produce possible, and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure this is the case. We buy our Beef from farms all across Surrey, alongside our specials, which occasionally include Rare Breed Longhorn, Wagyu, and Scotch.
Butchery Training

Butchery courses are held on-site in our cutting room and are conducted by Steve Prince and his highly qualified staff. Each course is limited to only 1 attendee due to safety restrictions on space. All coats, aprons and protective equipment will be provided. Places on the courses are on a strict first-come, first-served basis so don't hang around!
Local Deliveries

Here at Prince and Son's, we offer a free delivery service from our shop to your front door. If you are interested in our delivery service, all you have to do to place an order is either call the shop or email us with your order. Once your order is placed, we will let you know the delivery day, and on the morning of the delivery, we will call for payment, and will give you a delivery timeslot.
