Claire's legal career started in 1998 whilst working in the Legal Services Department at Dorset County Council. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2004. With 21 years experience within the property and conveyancing world she is a keen and knowledgeable Director of the firm.
Conveyancing” – What is it

Your Conveyancer is the person who will carry out the legal paperwork in connection with the sale or purchase of your property and make sure that it is properly dealt with and registered at Land Registry in accordance with current requirements.

Your Conveyancer will ensure that on completion of a purchase any Mortgages secured over the property by the Seller are paid off and the property is transferred to the Purchaser free of any debts incurred by the previous owners.
The Basic Steps

First make an offer on the property you would like to buy and tell the Estate Agent what you are willing to pay, subject to contract. Once the Seller has accepted your offer the Estate Agent will prepare a Memorandum of Sale which is sent out to both Buyer and Seller and to their respective Conveyancers.
How we deal with the money
Report
We will provide you with detailed Completion Statements to include all of the above elements during the course of your transaction. We will also provide you with a comprehensive estimate of the various charges at the outset of your transaction to enable you to plan and budget effectively.
