Contemporary Dance Fusion
Our Contemporary Dance Fusion classes combine technical precision with creative expression. Students develop strength, flexibility, and artistic interpretation through dynamic movement patterns. The curriculum emphasizes body control, spatial awareness, and emotional storytelling, preparing dancers for both performance opportunities and technical examinations while fostering individual creativity in a supportive environment.
RAGE Boys Dance
RAGE Boys Dance program addresses the specific needs of male dancers through high-energy sessions combining hip hop, breakdancing, and acrobatic elements. The classes build physical strength, coordination, and performance confidence while creating a peer-supportive environment that encourages artistic expression and technical development tailored to boys' learning styles.
Rhythmic Gymnastics
Accredited by the British Gymnastics Association, our Rhythmic Gymnastics program develops coordination, flexibility, and apparatus handling skills using hoops, ribbons, ropes, balls, and clubs. Students receive expert coaching from former international gymnasts, with pathways for both competitive athletes and performance-focused participants in our Display Company.
Musokan Dojo Martial Arts
Musokan Dojo offers traditional martial arts training in Kendo, Iaido, and Jodo under former national champions. The program includes children's classes, adult fitness programs like Zanshin Samurai Fitness, and grading opportunities. Our approach combines technical precision with character development through disciplined practice and cultural education.
Acrobatics
Acrobatics classes follow the Acrobatique syllabus, developing tumbling skills and physical control. Students learn progressive techniques from basic rolls to advanced aerials in a safe environment with professional spotting. International rhythmic gymnast and dance educator with 13 years' experience. Established Dexterity Dance & Gym Dojo in 2010 to create a nurturing environment for children's artistic development. Holds advanced coaching qualifications and choreographs for elite gymnasts.
Xandy Sahla
Martial Arts Instructor
Former National and European 5th Dan Iaido Champion with extensive experience in Kendo instruction. Led British Kendo teams in three World Championships. Specializes in traditional martial arts and wellbeing programs for all ages.

Dexterity is awesome. The teachers are great and really engage and progress the kids. The variety of classes on offer is huge and there really is something for everyone. I can't recommend Dexterity enough to anyone looking for great dance, drama, acro, martial arts or keep fit. Try it, you will love it.

Such a fabulous setup, our now 14 year old boy and 6 year old girl both love it and have done for years. A lovely friendly community and loads of opportunities, very reasonable prices too.

Dexterity is owner run and is particularly great for both boys and girls a like. Each year the school put on a showcase, last year at the Castle Theatre in Wellingborough.
