Welcome to Sale United F.C.
Established in 1975, Sale United F.C. is a community grassroots football club based in Sale, Cheshire, dedicated to providing inclusive football opportunities for individuals aged 5 to open age. We pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming environment where players of all abilities and backgrounds can thrive, with a commitment to non-discrimination across sex, race, religion, or disability. Our FA Charter Standard Community Club accreditation reflects our adherence to rigorous safeguarding protocols, including Criminal Record Bureau checks and coach qualifications, ensuring a safe space for all participants. We pioneered the UK's first Powerchair football team in 2008, partnering with the Manchester United Foundation to expand accessibility, and have been recognised nationally with The FA's Grassroots Club of the Year award in 2011. Our innovative approach extends to youth development through the Gimme5s programme, which introduces fundamental skills to young players via engaging games.

With teams spanning from youth to adult levels, including seven girls' teams, we remain at the forefront of grassroots football innovation. Our RESPECT and Zero Tolerance policies uphold the highest standards of conduct for players, coaches, and spectators, ensuring a positive experience for all. As a club, we actively collaborate with statutory agencies and the NSPCC to maintain child protection and welfare excellence. Our facilities at Crossford Bridge Sports Development Centre offer accessible training grounds, with onsite parking and easy connectivity to major transport routes. Through decades of service, we continue to break barriers in football accessibility while empowering players to achieve their full potential.

Follow the brown signs for the correct parking area, car park has alot of pot holes , but there is a little cafe with a wide selection of food and hot and cold drinks on football days. Clean and accessible toilets are also available. Great grounds

Poor coaching on the whole unless you drop lucky with a coach. Lots of potential to be a great club for children, but Ive seen no development over the last 12 - 18 months in my son.
