Adelaide Veterinary Centre
At Adelaide we provide professional care for precious paws, and we have been doing since 1985. Originally founded in Lowford before moving to our current site in Bursledon in 1988, we pride ourselves on caring for your pets as if they are our own. We have five experienced small animal vets aided by a team of nurses and receptionists dedicated to looking after your pets.

Since our practice records became computerised in 1992 we have cared for over 30,000 individual pets. We provide all of the services needed to keep your pet fit and well, including ultrasound, digital x-rays and a modern surgery theatre. Where possible we aim to allow for continuity of care, ensuring your pet is treated by a friendly, familiar face.

Puppy care
Report
On the arrival of your lovely new pup!. Whether this is your first dog or the latest in a long line, you will hopefully find some of this information useful. We recommend feeding your new pup puppy food four times daily until 12 weeks of age, three times daily until six months, then either once or twice daily after that.
Kitten care
Report
On the arrival of your lovely new kitten! Whether this is your first cat or the latest in a long line, you will hopefully find some of this information useful. We recommend vaccination against cat flu, feline enteritis, and feline leukemia virus when your kitten is eight to nine weeks old, with a second dose at 12 weeks old.
Rabbits
Report
If your rabbit is unwell the last thing you want to worry about is how to pay for treatment. We recommend that you consider pet insurance for all of your pets. Please phone us if you are at all worried about your rabbit, as their health can go downhill very quickly once they start to show problems.
