I have been working with Holmebuild for well over 4 years now. I've purchased a variety of different products but mainly landscaping materials all of which have been of the highest quality at fair prices. Any issues have been quickly resolved. I went down to purchased wood for delivery before covid. They took my money and then told me the had sold the wood on the day of delivery, had to wait 2 weeks to be told I had be charged wrong an it was £100 more I needed to pay, they then did the same 2weeks later an wanted another £150 on top ( I later found out that due to covid, the prices had rises and even though I already payed and was waiting for delivery they were charging other 3 times the amount so they were giving them the wood an making me wait (also turns out that if you pay but a member comes in after you they will get you wood

Checked the opening times on the website which stated they closed at 5pm. We arrived at 4.23pm to be refused entry and told they were shutting as they were short staffed and hadn’t had a dinner break. There was no consideration to how far we’d driven to get there and how much we were planning on spending. I suppose we’ll take our business elsewhere as even in this economic climate they can afford to lose custom. We definitely won’t be going back.
