Farmers and graziers since 1807, farming is in the Stanley blood and Ben is no exception. Farming is his true passion, particularly his cattle. Not one thing is missed and they always come first, come hell or high water! Ben spends every day, including the 8th day, running the farming livestock and arable enterprises.
Our Farm

Ben, 4th generation farmer and Tori a design & marketing graduate set about adding value to their beloved livestock. In 2004 they set up their meat business selling directly from farm to fork. Over the next 6 years they attended fine food fairs, farmers markets and delivering hamper boxes to their ever-growing fan base.
Our way and Why

We farm Old English Longhorns because we love them. They are the oldest untouched native breed of cattle in the country, developed by Robert Bakewell of Dishley Leicestershire as a multi purpose breed they have gone from strength to strength. Bot only are the beautiful they are docile, easy to manage and thrive on our old lays grass land.

Home to their award winning Longhorn cattle which graze around the house in the view of Derbyshire companioned on the farm by the Jacob and Portland sheep, white Sussex hens, ponies, Dan the Donkey, and our three friendly dogs.During your stay with them you will join Ben & Tori on the farm doing all that they do!
