Spray painting for an extremely hard wearing, high gloss finish that is easy to touch up and very stable against discolouration. The choice is yours, from power wash and bitumen to complete gritblasting and 2-pack epoxy including base plate if required.

Welcome to the page for the Penkridge site of Midway Boats, which is at Parkgate Lock (No.40) on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal. The site & workshop are owned by our associated company, Bourne Boat Builders Ltd, who are manufacturers and craftsmen of quality hand built bespoke narrowboats, and builders of the 'new' Midway range of narrowboats.

We have several sites, and as such, sometimes our Barbridge Marina site may be temporarily closed if we are having to work elsewhere. Take the A51 to Nantwich from Chester. Passing through Alpraham and over the canal at Calveley. One and a half miles further on, as the road straightens, there is a small hump back bridge on the left, with white rails which crosses over the canal.
