A warm welcome awaits you at Glenmoriston Arms in the picturesque Highland village of Invermoriston. Situated on the Great Glen Way at the junction for Inverness, Fort William and Skye, we are the ideal base for touring and exploring the area. Whether you seek some peace and tranquillity or something a bit more strenuous you can find it here.
Surrounded by stunning scenery and amazing wildlife we have walking and cycling routes on our doorstep, but if you don't feel like walking any further than the bar to the garden with a cold beer on a hot day. Or. how about a 'Glorious Dram' sitting by the wood burner on a frosty evening in November?

Walking in Glenmoriston
Report
Everybody knows that we lie just a few minutes stroll away from the most famous stretch of water in the world. To reach it we would recommend that you take a walk down by the Moriston River, this takes just a few minutes and on the way you can take in Thomas Telford's (the architect of the Caledonian Canal) bridge built in 1813 and formerly used as the old road.
The Great Glen Way
Report
The Great Glen Way, a fairly new walking route that was created to add an extension to its much more famous and well established sister, The West Highland Way. The Great Glen Way stretches 73 miles from Fort William to Inverness following closely the line of the canal and passing some of the most beautiful scenery the Highlands has to offer.
Bar
Report
The Bar area along with the reception area dates back to 1740 and forms the origins of the building. A sure indication of 'settling in' over the years is the now famous squinty door frame. The Grant family owned the Hotel for a couple of hundred years until 1985 when it was sold into private enterprise, but it cannot forget its history and many references to the Grant family remain in the Hotel today.
