Our aim is to make watersports accessible for all, by providing a variety of affordable activities for individuals and groups. Liverpool Watersports Centre offers a wide range of activities, including paddleboarding, open-water swimming, power boating, kayaking and canoes.
Liverpool Watersports Centre also offer a range of group activities for those who want to bring a party together. These include activities for Schools, Youth Groups, Work or Team Building Activities, as well as Stag and Hen do's. Of course, you can get in touch with us to find out about additional activities we may have that are suitable for a party of your choice.

Liverpool Watersports Centre is part of Local Solutions, a charity working with disadvantaged groups around the Liverpool City Region and North Wales. At the heart of the centre, is a commitment to make watersports accessible to everyone and this is reflected in the mix of customers at the centre including visitors to the city, local people enjoying the activities on offer and visits by schools and groups working with disadvantaged groups.
Activities

Liverpool Watersports Centre offers a range of activities, both for individuals and groups. You can learn a new skill in either sailing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, stand Up Paddle boarding or powerboating being taught by one of our instructors or you can hire equipment what we call pay & play.
Group Activities

Liverpool Watersports Centre offers a range of group activities, 7 days a week in the summer and 5 days a week in the winter months. The centre is used by both primary and secondary school students, as well as organisations that support NEET Young People, mental health services, disability groups and Homeless services.
Courses

The Centre runs a number of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoeing Courses in a variety of water sports; all courses are run by qualified instructors at the recommended National Governing Body ratios. If you want to try windsurfing our sheltered dock is ideal for beginners to learn the basics.

Do I need to be able to swim? Everyone who takes part in any activities must be water confident and be able to swim 50m in a buoyancy aid. You can hire a wetsuit for kayaking/Canoeing/swimming/paddleboarding for 5 pounds if you would like to. Is there any charge for equipment? There is no charge for equipment only wetsuits if you want them for paddlesports, the price per hour you pay includes tuition and usage of equipment.
