Your First Visit
Report
Using many of the diagnostic procedures applied in conventional medical assessment, Osteopaths seek to restore the optimal functioning of the body and aid it's ability to heal. The session begins with a consultation. This is where important information is gathered concerning your pain, movement, lifestyle and past medical history.
Back Pain
Report
Back pain comes in many forms and can be caused by problems with muscles, ligaments, nerves, bone, joints, cartilage and tendons. Problems with posture will put too much stress on the spine in certain areas that are vulnerable. It's the osteopath's job to decide what is the cause of the pain and the tissues that are painful.

Report
John Lancaster first started his career as a Sports Injury Therapist and gained a Master Diploma for his efforts so John is the perfect therapist for your sports related pain. At The Lancaster Clinic we understand the needs of the sports person and the need for preventative treatments as well as returning you to your sport as quickly as possible.
Work Related Injuries
Report
If you are suffering with pain or pins and needles in the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, shoulder, neck or lower back its quite possible it is work related and a form of repetitive strain injury as a result of you not sitting or standing properly at your work station. Osteopathy is ideal for finding the subtle causes of your pain investigating how your posture has been over strained during work time.
