Happy Tree Academy is a purpose-built nursery, located on the premises of the Northwood Club. We cater for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. The nursery is set over two floors with two large, well equipped playrooms, dedicated baby facilities, a safe enclosed outdoor area and our new forest school.
Our meal and snack menus are balanced and nutritious, children have access to fresh fruit and water throughout the day. At Happy Tree Academy we utilise a secure online and smartphone app (Blossom) to inform parents of their child's learning, progress and development throughout the day whilst under our care in real time. The app documents the various activities that children have taken part in and gives parents updates on their child's eating habits, toileting as well as overall progress during their day.

The Chestnut Room is a spacious, fully equipped dedicated baby room catering for children aged 3 months to 2 years. We provide a safe and stimulating environment with qualified staff who understand the developmental needs of each individual child.
We provide activities that promote the prime and specific areas of development and an environment that supports the Characteristics of Effective Learning which are intrinsic to the Early Years Foundation Stage.Each child is supported with a key person who works closely with the parents in order to build the child's independence and confidence during these early years.

Forest School

Our Forest School is a nature driven inspirational approach to learning that provides children to experience a natural environment. This experience helps children develop skills including independence, investigation and discovery, taking risks safely, expressing emotions, building self-esteem and care for natural environments.
