1st Contact Physiotherapy
We require anyone attending to wear face covering (can be supplied if you don't have one). There will be hand sanitiser to use before and after consultation to keep everyone safe. For the time being, the reception area will be closed so we would ask anyone attending not to arrive early to minimise contact with others.

Home visits for physiotherapy and sports massage are available on request, where an additional charge may be applicable depending on travel distance. If you require any advice, then please feel welcome to contact us by phone or email. 1st Contact Physiotherapy Stoke on Trent are registered with major medical insurance companies.

Mike is the Clinical Director and graduated from the University of Salford with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy after 10 years practicing as a Sports Therapist. During this time he worked with the British Cycling Team travelling to events worldwide and as part-time therapist at Stoke City Football Club.
Your Visit
Report
If you have a leg injury then shorts would be preferable. Otherwise just wear your normal clothes, and expect to expose the area requiring treatment. Treatment may sometimes be carried out on the first session, but not always, it depends on the analysis and complexity of the problem. Clients can sometimes expect some post treatment soreness for the following 24 hours, depending on treatment given.
